Berthing Facilities (approx)

Dry Dock 1 - 140m x 18m x 5m
Dry Dock 2 - 160m x 19m x 6m
Wet Berth Facility - 150m x 23m x 8m
30m fabrication and building berth

The above berths are supplied with shore power, fresh/ballast water, sewage and waste oil collection facilities. Both dry docks are completely floodlit and are serviced by 40 x AC welding machines.

Equipment

Facilities include site cranage, access platforms, fully equipped workshops, high pressure washing, including deck and tank cleaning, grit blasting equipment for external/internal steel preparation, and quality spray equipment.

Security

As well as the security offered by the port authority at Alexandra dock, the Company has installed secure fencing around the entire shipyard to meet ISPS regulations.

Workforce

Our workforce is multi skilled with a fast turnaround but operating to quality standards.

Wet Berth Repairs

The MMS wet berth was almost fully occupied throughout 2007, with vessels calling in for routine maintenance and various modifications.
